Mrs.Fox"sWeddingJacobandWilhelmGrimm  FirstTale  Onceuponatimetherewasanoldfoxwithninetails.Hedidnotbelievethathiswifewasfaithfultohimandwantedtoputhertothetest.Hestretchedhimselfoutbeneaththebench,didnotmovealimb,andpretendedtobestonedead. Assoonasitbecameknownthattheoldfoxhaddied,suitorsbegantoappear.Themaidheardsomeoneknockingatthefrontdoor.Sheopenedit,andtherestoodayoungfox,whosaid:  Whatareyoudoing,MissCat?Areyouasleep,orareyouawake? Cat,sweepoutthekitchen,Andthrowtheoldfoxoutthewindow.Hebroughthomemanyabigfatmouse,Butheatethemallalone,Andnevergavemeaone.  thenMrs.FoxmarriedyoungMr.Fox,andeveryonedancedandcelebrated,andiftheyhavenotstopped,thentheyaredancingstill.
