04阅读积累二.文中小语法系动词的省略原句Hekeptwalkingupanddownrestlessly,hisfacepale,andhishandsshakingslightly.点拨本句中hisface和hishands后分别省略了系动词“was”和“were”。省略是为了避免重复,突出新信息和行文连接的一种语法手段。英语省略应坚持只要不损害语法结构或产生歧义能省则省的原则。如果一个句子中前后谓语相同且都是系动词,在不影响句意的情况下,这些系动词可以省略。再如:MaLinisabusdriver,hiswife(is)aconductor.马林是公共汽车司机,他的妻子是售票员。Hisfaceistannedandhishands(are)bigandstrong.他的脸晒得很黑,他的双手大而有力。
